Apply Online for CPT June 2013

Step 1: Create Your Account: for every upcoming exam by clicking at the link “If you are a new user, please click here” (The users who had created login account for any previous exams will have to re-create the account) and authenticating your Student Registration Number (eg: NRO0123456) with your date of birth, your VALID email-id and mobile number. (In Case your Name is not displayed on entering the registration number and Date of Birth, you can still create the login as a PROVISIONAL CANDIDATE by providing correct particulars. You must submit the copy of registration letter and other relevant documents with your application form in case your login is created as Provisional Candidate.)
Double check your email-id: provided by you in the above step, since the login-id and password created by you for filling up the application form would be sent to this email address and mobile only. (more…)

You are required to provide a request duly signed by you for issue of duplicate mark sheet/sClick here to download format of application
E-mails are not entertained for issue of duplicate mark sheet/s.
You are required to furnish the following details / documents along with your request

  • Copy/ies of mark sheet/s for which you require duplicate mark sheet/s (if available), which will help us to process your request speedily. In case, you are not in a position to send copy/ies of your Mark sheet/s, please furnish your correct Articles Registration Number, Month & Year of appearance and Roll Number for which you require duplicate mark sheet/s. CPT Examination consists of 200 Multiple Choice Questions from the four subjects a.Fundamentals of Accounting(50 marks)

b.Mercantile Law (50 marks) c.Economics (50 marks) d.Quantitative Aptitude (50 marks) with negative marking as 1/4 th mark for

Change in CPT Passing Criteria

SLMS.jpgRevised passing requirements for Common Proficiency Test (CPT) effective from June, 2013

it is notified for general information that
the passing requirements of CPT effective from June, 2013 shall be as under:-

“A candidate for the Common Proficiency Test shall ordinarily be declared to have passed the test if he
obtains at one sitting a minimum of 30% marks in each section and a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the sections, subject to the principle of negative marking, in such manner
as may be determined by the Council, from time to time.” Read the rest of this entry
