  1. In  this subject the core part is of the Accounting Standards which carries a weightage of 30-35 Marks So concentrate more on this part. The Importance of each Accounting Standard for exam purpose is given below as ABC Analysis.

Category A : AS 16,17,18,19,20,22,26,28

Category B: AS 2,11,12,13,15,29,30,31,32

Category C: AS 1,3,4,5,6,7,9,10

Preparing from class notes given by Best faculty is best choice, However Padhuka series may be referred to be familiar with more problem models

  1. Now move on to Important chapters Consolidation of Financial statements (Holding Company) and Corporate Restructuring (Amalgamation and other Misc.) these chapters carry a weightage of 30-40 Marks With this You will gain confidence on the subject.
  2. Now Alomost 60 % of the syllabus is completed So now move on to Miscellaneous  topics which carry a weightage of 20-25 Marks like Value added statement , NBFC , Share based Accounting etc.,

 

Here is the Questions Pattern

 

There will usually be 7 questions of which you would need to answer 6. The questions would likely be as follows:

1. Accounting Standards.
2. Accounting Standards.
3. Consolidation
4. Amalgamation
5. Valuation
6. Miscellaneous topics
7. Miscellaneous topics
